Starting a tire shop is not as easy as it sounds. There are many factors that come into play when you own your own business, and the success of the business hinges on these factors. I will be discussing some tips below about how I was able to build my own successful tire shop! This is a quick read, so make sure to remember every detail!
The first thing I did was to get a loan from my bank.
This allowed me to purchase inventory and start advertising immediately.
I decided that it would be beneficial for us offer new tires, various types of tire services (such as alignments), and we had the ability to order any type of tire our customers needed!
The most successful marketing strategy I’ve used is creating an online presence on social media like Facebook and Instagram. This has been extremely helpful because so many people use these platforms every day, including potential customers who are looking for whatever you happen to provide! Social media allows them easy access into your business world – they can check out your deals, see what you’re up too each day, etcetera- which gives them more incentive to come into your shop, instead of just searching for whatever they need online.
We also have an email list that we use to keep our past customers in the loop about upcoming deals or promotions!
